BSL Series Robots

Wheelchair Level Mobility Aid (WLMA)
Series Robots

The BSL (Basic Service level) robots are designed to provide general mobility assistance around the home or office. While they are not equiped with manipulators, they provide a stable flat surface that can be used to transport everyday items from one room to another.

Known as "Basil" these robots utilize a comfortable voice command system, and can accept instructions in simple, everyday English. They also respond verbally, from a pleasant "What do you want me to do?", to confirming your instructions before carrying them out; "Are you sure that you want me to go to the kitchen?"

Relying extensively on the capabilities of the Cybernetic Brain, the BSL series robots are as capable at serving food at parties, as they are at carrying the laundry basket to the bedroom.

The WLMA series robots are intended to provide assistance to individuals in wheelchairs. Positioned at a comfortable working height, the WLMA series robots offer all the functionality of the BSL series robots, but at a height that is designed for a seated person.

Also relying on a sophisticated voice command input system, The WLMA series robots are designed to fill an important need by improving the quality of life for an otherwise active person in a wheelchair.

The WLMA series goes beyond providing a stable, self moving platform. Like all robots with a Cybernetic Brain, it can also perform tasks such as reminding a person to take their pills, or of an upcoming appointment. These robots will search for the person if they are not in the same room as the robot.

The baseline models of both the BSL series and the WLMA series robots are assembled to order. The typical assembly time is six to eight weeks. To request a price quote or to discuss your specific needs with one of the Gamma Two designers, please contact us by email at info@gamma-two.com.
